The Ukrainian World Congress (UWC) initiative “Unite with Ukraine” in cooperation with Saint Javelin has transferred 750 FPV drones worth over $345 thousand (UAH 14 million) to ten units of the Ukrainian Defense Forces.
According to Ukrinform, this is stated on the UWC website.
It is noted that this delivery was an important step in strengthening Ukraine’s defense capabilities, in particular in the development of high-precision unmanned technologies of Ukrainian production.
The funds were raised during the Birds of Freedom 2.0 campaign, which was supported by more than 1,600 donors from 22 countries.
“Drones and unmanned systems are no longer an option; they are indispensable elements of modern warfare. Ukraine is not only adapting to modern forms of warfare, it is becoming a leader in this area,” emphasized UWC President Paul Grod. He emphasized that all FPV drones were manufactured in Ukraine in accordance with the needs of specific combat units.
The transfer of the drones was organized in conjunction with the military operators of each unit to ensure maximum efficiency and accuracy of the use of the drones on the battlefield. All drones are manufactured with 7-inch and 10-inch frames, depending on the mission, geography and combat conditions.
Andriy Potichnyi, director of the Unite with Ukraine initiative, added: “These are not just drones – they are precise tools for gaining a tactical advantage on the battlefield.”
