President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelenskyy arrived in New York to participate in the 76th session of the UN General Assembly on the night of September 21 (Kyiv time). The head of state noted that his goal was not just to talk about the deoccupation of the Ukrainian territories occupied by Russia, but also to demand appropriate action.

This was reported by UA.

According to him, Ukraine should be an example of a country that does not betray its interests.

“We must not only speak, but demand appropriate action. We are looking for solutions for Donbas and Crimea at all platforms. Yes, the UN is one of the main platforms. And we should not miss this opportunity” – the president said.

Volodymyr Zelenskyy noted that Ukraine should make the most of this visit. For example, in addition to the planned meetings, there will be a conversation, in particular, with the President of Turkey.

The head of state noted that now “the whole world is shaking”, and painful issues can be resolved only through stability, clear and pragmatic dialogue.

“I think we can talk about the support of Ukraine by our partners at this very difficult time” – Volodymyr Zelenskyy added.

To remind, it was reported who goes with the president to the USA to the UN General Assembly.
