The European Union (EU) fully supports Ukraine’s sovereignty and territorial integrity.
This was reported by UA with reference to the Twitter account of the President of the European Council Charles Michel.
European Council President Charles Michel held talks with Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy. Leaders discussed the situation in Ukraine by telephone, including the build-up of Russian troops along the borders.
“He declared to the President his full support for the territorial integrity and sovereignty of Ukraine on the part of the EU. He stressed the urgent need for the Russian Federation to de-escalate tensions over the build-up of troops along Russia’s border with Ukraine. Europe’s security is possible only with a secure Ukraine” – said Charles Michel.
To remind, to withdraw circulation of the textbook with “Russian” Crimea – with such request Ukraine addressed to Spain.
