President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelenskyy and First Lady Olena Zelenska arrived in Washington as part of the head of state’s working visit to the United States of America.
UA reports this with reference to the Office of the President.
The agenda of the visit includes a one-on-one meeting of the leaders of the two countries and a meeting in an expanded composition of delegations.
In addition, a number of important meetings of the President of Ukraine with American officials will take place as well.
Representatives of Ukraine and the United States are also planned to sign a number of documents.
The program of the president’s visit is designed for several days and will cover a number of cities on the east and west coasts of the United States.
To remind, on August 30, Ambassador of Ukraine to the United States Oksana Markarova announced that the meeting between US President Joe Biden and Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy will be held on September 1.
It was rescheduled due to the U.S. evacuation from Afghanistan.
