Ukrainians will defend their land and people under any circumstances and from any encroachments, including from Russia.

This is reported by UA with reference to the website of the Office of the President.

“Ukrainians will never give up their freedom. In the meantime, a museum with a collection of various condemnations may already be opened in Moscow. Of course, we are grateful for the support provided, but collective efforts are still not enough to return the Russian side to not only predictable policy, which would be based on respect for international law and to the neighboring states, but also to simply meaningful negotiations regarding peace in the east of Ukraine” – the head of state said.

The President added that Russia is using its troops near the borders of Ukraine to blackmail Western states. He noted that over the past 8 years of war Ukraine is ready for any scenarios, but this can hardly be said about other European countries.

“For example, Germany recently prevented us from buying anti-drone rifles and anti-sniper systems, which are purely defensive tools. Do we really have no right to them in the eighth year of the war? Obviously, we have. Any democratic state that protects itself from aggression should have the right to acquire such defense tools. But in some capitals fear still prevails” – the Ukrainian president stressed.
