Ukraine Plans Sea-Based Drone Interceptor Defense Line to Protect Odesa — Zelenskyy

Ukraine plans to establish a maritime defense line using interceptor drones to protect Odesa and the surrounding region from Russian aerial attacks, President Volodymyr Zelenskyy said, UATV English reports.

According to the president, the interceptor drones will be launched from various platforms, including unmanned surface vessels.

“We are planning to create a defense line at sea using interceptor drones. They will be launched from different platforms, including naval drones,” Zelenskyy said.

He noted that the new defense system is intended to shield Odesa and the wider region from continued Russian missile and drone attacks.
