Ukraine’s military achievements at sea have already become part of history, Defense Intelligence Chief Kyrylo Budanov said as he congratulated sailors, petty officers and officers of the Ukrainian Navy on Navy Day, UATV English reports.
Budanov praised the Navy’s role in defending Ukraine against Russia, highlighting a series of landmark operations carried out since the start of the full-scale invasion.
“The achievements of the Ukrainian Navy in confronting the Russian aggressor have already gone down in history: the destruction of the cruiser Moskva and other enemy warships, participation in the liberation of Snake Island and the Black Sea offshore platforms, as well as numerous operations at sea and along the coastline. Moscow’s aggressive arrogance has been sunk in the Black Sea,” Budanov said.
