“PITCH UA – Ukraine is Worth Seeing” will be the first open-to-all video contest.

It comes to Kyiv March 18.

Organizers said that its main goal is to showcase positive changes in Ukraine in recent years and to educate people about Ukrainians.

“One way to do this is to fill up TV channels, cinema screens and web-resources with high-quality content demonstrating the unity of our state in its diversity and devoted to the stories of strong, passionate, people,” co-organizer Viktor Yarmoshchuk said.

The competition allows for video projects for TV, cinema, and web platforms of all types.

PITCH UA runs from March 18 to June 17. It will have several stages: calls for applications, workshops, final projects presentation, and pitching.

Participants will be able to develop professionally, get feedback on the creative potential of their ideas, visit classes run by international experts, and, as a result – get partial funding for their projects.
