Ukraine gave barbed wire to Lithuania for protection against illegal migrants (PHOTOS)

Ukraine sent humanitarian aid to the Republic of Lithuania to help protect its borders from illegal migrants. This was reported by the press center of the State Emergency Service, UA reports.

“More than 38 tons of humanitarian cargo were sent on August 12, from Ukraine to Lithuania. This is the first phase of assistance out of 3 that Ukraine is sending in accordance with the decree of President Volodymyr Zelenskyy and the order of the Cabinet of Ministers. The assistance will help strengthen the protection of Lithuania’s borders from illegal migrants” – the statement says.

It was added that the cargo is accompanied by a group of employees of the State Emergencies Service, who should give to representatives of the State Border Guard Service under the Ministry of Internal Affairs of the Republic of Lithuania.

The humanitarian cargo includes bays of barbed wire.
