Ukraine expects USD 750 million from the IMF – Shmyhal

Prime Minister of Ukraine Denys Shmyhal said that the IMF mission will arrive in Ukraine on September 18. This will most likely be an online mission.

Shmygal said this at a press conference, UA informs.

According to him, the mission will be final in the preparation and issuance of the next tranche.

Shmyhal noted that Ukraine has fulfilled all the conditions that were established in the memorandum with the IMF.

“Therefore, we expect the positive completion of this mission and expect that approximately in December, the end of November – the beginning of December, is the date when the IMF tranche is possible” – Shmyhal said.

He added that the tranche should be USD 750 million.

It was reported earlier, that Ukraine’s reserves rose to a maximum of 9 years with the help of the IMF assistance.
