Ukraine Expects to Sign Around $10 Billion in New Agreements at URC 2026 in Gdańsk, Svyrydenko Says

The Ukraine Recovery Conference 2026 (URC 2026) opened today, June 25, in Gdańsk, Poland. The Ukrainian delegation is led by Prime Minister Yuliia Svyrydenko and also includes Deputy Prime Minister for European Integration Taras Kachka and Minister of Culture Tetiana Berezhna. The information was reported by FREEДОМ correspondent Oleh Borysov from Gdańsk, UATV English reports.

Conference participants are expected to finalize a number of agreements aimed at developing Ukraine’s energy sector and strengthening international partnerships.

Svyrydenko said she expects “major results” from the conference, adding that Ukraine plans to sign agreements worth around $10 billion.

The Ukrainian delegation also includes business representatives, heads of state-owned companies, members of parliament, and representatives of local communities.

Earlier, Svyrydenko said the delegation’s key objective is “to reach concrete agreements that will strengthen Ukraine’s defense capabilities and resilience, while expanding economic cooperation with our partners.”

According to the prime minister, the conference is expected to deliver:

  • Around 160 agreements and more than 30 partnerships worth over €10 billion;
  • Participation of more than 80 Ukrainian companies and 2,000 business representatives;
  • The launch of the Energy Platform.

A new €90 billion support instrument for Ukraine is also expected, along with the disbursement of the first €3.2 billion tranche.
