StopRussianRecruiters.org, an information platform created by Ukraine’s Coordination Headquarters in cooperation with the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, has launched a new section profiling individuals allegedly involved in the “predatory” recruitment of foreign nationals to fight in Russia’s war against Ukraine, UATV English reports.

The new Recruiters section publishes profiles of agents and intermediaries whose activities have been linked in open sources to recruiting foreigners into the Russian armed forces.

According to the project, recruitment schemes include luring people to Russia with promises of civilian employment, misleading them about the actual conditions of military service, and using fraudulent practices. Even those who knowingly agree to enlist may face deception, including withheld payments or financial losses caused by recruiters.

The platform says people from economically vulnerable communities around the world, including African countries, are particularly exposed to such recruitment practices.

StopRussianRecruiters.org collects, organizes and publishes information already available in open sources to warn potential victims, draw international attention to Russian recruitment practices and make relevant information more accessible.

The project also encourages victims, their relatives and witnesses to report suspected recruitment cases, with all submissions handled confidentially.
