The situation with the concentration of Russian troops near the border with Ukraine was a key topic of conversation between US Secretary of State Anthony Blinken and NATO Secretary General Jens Stoltenberg ahead of a ministerial meeting of Allies in Riga.

This was reported in the US State Department following a conversation between the two leaders,  UA writes.

The agency noted that Secretary of State Blinken “looks forward” to participating in the ministerial meeting, which will take place in Riga.

“Secretary of State Anthony Blinken spoke with NATO Secretary General Jens Stoltenberg to discuss the agenda of the NATO Foreign Ministers’ meeting from 30 November to 1 December, as well as information on Russia’s unusual military activity near Ukraine” – the statement said.

To remind, US State Department released a list of countries invited to the virtual summit of Democratic leaders of President Joe Biden in December. Ukraine is on the list.
