The national revolt in Putin’s Reich is impossible: expert called the conditions for the collapse of the regime from within

Totalitarian regimes do not collapse from within as a result of popular protests, so the Putin regime today is not threatened by a growing number of citizens who do not want to die in the war against Ukraine. This opinion was shared by Russian journalist and sociologist Igor Yakovenko on the FREEDOM TV channel.

According to him, there are a significant number of people in Russia who “do not agree that Russia is killing Ukrainians”, much more than those who do not want to die themselves.

“These are certainly factors that matter, but they will not manifest themselves in popular riots as long as the security forces remain loyal to the Putin regime … The principle is known, and it has no exceptions: totalitarian fascist regimes do not collapse from within as a result of popular protests. It doesn’t happen in history… A mass protest under the conditions of the Stalinist regime, under the conditions of the Third Reich, under the conditions of Putin’s Reich is impossible, because the number of security forces, the power of the security forces, which is ready to destroy any protest, is such that any such protest becomes impossible. Rather, it is possible, but it will be instantly destroyed, ”explains Yakovenko.

The guest of the air believes that the protest will become a reality only when the regime loses the loyalty of the security forces, in addition, a split in the elites may contribute to its implementation. According to Yakovenko, this split is already growing. He also noted that the loyalty of the security forces to Putin will be lost with new victories of the Armed Forces of Ukraine.

“As a result of the new successes of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, the crack between Putin and the law enforcement agencies may increase,” emphasized Igor Yakovenko.
