The Russian Federation has no right to hinder Ukraine’s Euro-Atlantic integration.

This was stated by NATO Secretary General Jens Stoltenberg, UA writes.

He noted that Ukraine is a sovereign country and decides on its own future. And NATO fully supports our country on the path to membership in the Alliance.

“We support Ukraine on its path to membership by endorsing reforms, the fight against corruption and the modernization of security and defense institutions. Political message – Russia has no right to interfere in this process. Ukraine is a sovereign independent state, and each sovereign independent state has the right to choose its path, in particular as to which alliances it wishes to join. This decision must be made by Ukraine and 30 allies when Ukraine is ready for membership” – Stoltenberg said.
