President of Slovakia Zuzana Caputova will take part in the summit of the “Crimean Platform”. This was announced by the Prime Minister of Slovakia Eduard Heger, UATV informs with reference to “Interfax-Ukraine”.

“Slovakia will take part in the summit of the “Crimean Platform”. We will be represented by President Caputova,” Heger said.

According to him, the presidential offices of Slovakia and Ukraine are working on a declaration recognizing Ukraine’s European integration aspirations.

“Slovakia supports Ukraine and Ukraine’s European aspirations. This is one of my main messages today. And we are talking about this in Brussels”б – Prime Minister of Slovakia said.

He noted that Ukraine’s European integration aspirations have already been officially recognized.

“Now it is important to use all the provisions of the Association Agreement between the EU and Ukraine”, –  head of the Slovak government added.

He also intends to talk with his colleagues about the reforms during his visit to Kyiv.

“Of course, the transformation and modernization of the country is a prerequisite for joining the EU and NATO. The reform process in Ukraine continues, and Slovakia believes that it will be sustainable and successful. By the way, the changes don’t concern the EU and NATO, they need to be implemented so that the Ukrainians themselves made Ukraine stronger, more stable”, – Heger said.
