Political analyst, editor-in-chief of the After Empire portal Olga Kurnosova said this on air on the FREEDOM TV channel.
“People see that Putin is not in control of the situation. And most importantly, political elites are beginning to realize more and more that Putin is not in control of the situation. He can no longer guarantee the elites anything that he guaranteed them yesterday,” she noted.
Kurnosova noted that Putin guaranteed the elites the infinity of his power.
“But gradually everything started to narrow down. First, the elites lost access to their foreign assets, and now it turns out that everything is not so good in Russia either. When oil refineries of various oil companies burned, when top managers hanged themselves right at their workplace, this suggests that Putin has no control over the situation in the country,” explained the political analyst.
She added that while Putin is talking about a nuclear strike, the situation in Russia continues to get out of his control.
