The state enterprise National Sports Complex Olimpiyskiy has not received anything official regarding a presidential debate to be held there.

The press service of the NSC Olimpiyskiy reported this information to Ukrinform.

“We have not received any applications for arranging a debate. Since last night, nothing has changed, and if there is official information, we will publish it on our website and Facebook page,” the press service said.

According to the enterprise, NSC Olimpiyskiy has not had any experience in organizing a debate at the stadium, therefore, it is difficult to speak about details of a possible event without specific information from potential participants.

Once the vote totals were finalized, Volodymyr Zelensky challenged Petro Poroshenko to a debate to be in Olimpiyskiy Stadium, a challenge Poroshenko accepted.

As Zelensky and Poroshenko were the top two finishers in the first round, they will meet in the second round of voting on April 21, 2019.
