EU does not approve of Russia trying to invent links between Ukraine and recent mass shooting in Moscow.

This was stated by the European Commission spokesperson for Foreign Affairs and Security Policy Peter Stano.

The EU denies any such claims made by Russia.

“There is no evidence that Ukraine was anyhow related to this attack. We call on the Russian government not to use these terrorist attacks in Moscow as motivation to exacerbate unlawful aggression against Ukraine or domestic repressions,” said Peter Stano, a spokesperson for the European Commission.

During a briefing on March 25, Stano was asked a question about possible cooperation with Russian on the matter of fighting against terrorism.

According to him, the EU completely shut down any cooperation with Russia due to its disrespect to international humanitarian law and the UN charter.

However, he still thinks the EU would consider helping Russia investigate terrorist attacks if the state formulated a reasonable cooperation offer.

This is highly doubtful as Russia hasn’t looked into any big terrorist attacks on Russian soil properly, and it’s difficulty to imagine the cooperation with the current government.
