Ships of the Standing NATO Maritime Group 2 (SNMG2), have entered the Black Sea.

SNMG2 is a multinational, integrated maritime force, made up of vessels from various allied nations, training and operating together as a single team. It is permanently available to NATO to perform a wide range of tasks, from participating in exercises, to crisis response and real world operational missions.

“The flagship is the British rocket destroyer HMS Duncan (D37). The group includes the Spanish Navy frigate SPS Victoria (F82), the Turkish frigate TCG Gemlik (F492), the German FGS Bayern (F217), and few smaller ships,”Dumskaia reported.
