It is planned to launch an electronic register of weapons in Ukraine by the end of 2021.
This was stated by the Minister of Internal Affairs of Ukraine Denys Monastyrsky on Facebook, UA informs.
“By the end of the year, Ukraine will have an electronic register of weapons, which was unable or unwilling for many years” – he said.
Monastyrsky noted that Ukraine has decided to simplify the registration of hunting and sports weapons. However, at the same time, control over its storage and use will be strengthened as much as possible.
“Everyone has to remember that guns are a responsibility. And to have a prize weapon is a great honor and no one has the right to plunder this honor with unworthy behavior” – Monastyrsky added.
To remind, Ukraine received 80 tons of ammunition from the United States.
