Ukraine is seeking to impose sanctions against all those who are involved in the Russian presidential election in occupied Crimea.

Minister of Foreign Affairs of Ukraine, Pavlo Klimkin, said that the Ukrainian side sent a note to the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Russia, protesting against the election of the Russian president in occupied Crimea. Ukraine also warns against attempts to organize elections in Donbass, and stressed that the elections in Russian diplomatic missions in Ukraine would not take place, unless the Ukrainian conditions are fulfilled.

Earlier, during the Munich Security Conference, President Petro Poroshenko called on European partners not to recognize the presidential elections in occupied Crimea.
