Starting this year, Feb. 26 will be recognized as the Day of Crimean Resistance against Russian occupation.
According to the Deputy Minister of Information Policy, Emine Dzheppar, the bill declaring the new holiday awaits President Petro Poroshenko’s signature. She says that remembering this day is necessary to help to continue to debunk Russia’s myths about what happened in 2014.
