The Crimean Tatar ornament “Örnek” and knowledge about it were officially included in the UNESCO World Cultural Heritage.
This was announced on Telegram by the Minister of Culture and Social Policy Oleksandr Tkachenko, UA reports.
According to him, the corresponding decision was made at the 16th session during a meeting of the Intergovernmental Commission in Paris.
“This is a victory for Ukraine. After all, it shows that the culture of Crimea is extraordinary, and it should be protected at the international level” – Tkachenko added.
