Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy stated that Ukraine continues to carry out long-range strikes against Russian military facilities and the country’s oil sector. During the night of June 14, Ukraine’s Defense Forces hit several important targets inside Russia and in temporarily occupied territories of Ukraine, UATV English reports.

“We have achieved good results in applying long-range measures against important facilities on the territory of Russia and the temporarily occupied territories of Ukraine. More than 700 kilometers from our state border, in Russia’s Yaroslavl region, SSU personnel struck an oil facility that was important for the reserves of the aggressor state,” Zelenskyy said.

According to him, Ukrainian forces also successfully hit targets in Russia’s Tula region. They struck the Azot enterprise, whose operations are important for the production of explosives.

Russian military logistics facilities in the temporarily occupied territories of Ukraine were also hit.

Flight restrictions were introduced at six Russian airports, while air raid alerts were declared in 28 Russian regions from the evening of the previous day through the reporting period.

“Ukraine is implementing its long-range strike plan against Russia and carrying out certain medium-range strike missions in response to Russia’s refusal to end this war. We offered the Russian leadership every possible format for negotiations, but the only response was continued aggression and attempts to expand it. It is only logical that the war is returning to where it came from. Ukraine needs peace,” the President emphasized.

As previously reported, Ukraine’s Unmanned Systems Forces struck the Crimean Titan plant in the temporarily occupied city of Armyansk. Following the strike, a fire broke out on the facility’s grounds and production was suspended.
