99.87 Percent of the Vote Tallied

As of this morning, the Central Election Commission processed 99.87 percent of the vote in Ukraine’s presidential election.

In the second round of the presidential election, over 13 million voters or 73.23 percent voted for showman Volodymyr Zelensky. The current Ukrainian president, Petro Poroshenko was supported by 4.5 million Ukrainians with 24.45 percent of the vote.

Some 2.31 percent of processed ballots in Ukraine were recognized as invalid.

Zelensky has already been congratulated by U.S. President Donald Trump, President of the European Council Donald Tusk, NATO Secretary General Jens Stoltenberg, and other world leaders.

Angela Merkel has also invited Zelensky to visit Germany.
