During the past 24 hours, Russian hybrid forces carried out 52 shellings towards the positions of the Ukrainian military in Donbas.
They even used weaponry prohibited by the Minsk agreements. This was announced by the press center of the ATO headquarters.
“In Luhansk, enemy used forbidden 152 mm and 122 mm artillery, 82 mm gauge mortars and grenade launchers near Zaitseve. In addition, militants used infantry fighting vehicles and grenade launchers towards Ukrainian defenses near Luhanske, grenade launchers near Krymske, and heavy machine guns in the area of Stanytsia Luhanska and Novoluhanske,” the ATO headquarters reported.
In Donetsk, the forbidden 120 mm and 82 mm mortars, armored personnel carriers and heavy machine guns were used near Pisky. The enemy fired with various grenade launchers and small arms towards the positions of the Ukrainian military in Vodiane, Marinka, Verkhnyotoretske, Avdiivka, the Butivka Mine, Hnutove, Kamianka, Novotroitske and Shyrokyne. In addition, militants used armored personnel carriers near Vodiane, infantry fighting vehicles near Talakivka and Hnutove, and heavy machine guns in the area of Lebedynske, Marinka, Talakivka, Pyshchevyk and Pavlopil. Also, small arms were used in the area of Nevelske, Opytne, Lebedynske, Hnutove and Talakivka. Sniper fire was recorded near Shyrokyne.
One Ukrainian soldier was killed, and five soldiers were injured.
