The commander of the Air Forces of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, Lieutenant General Mykola Oleshchuk, announced the day before that crews of the anti-aircraft missile forces, which are constantly hunting Russian fighters, carried out combat use against enemy aircraft at a distance of more than 150 km, without specifying with what weapon. Most likely, this information was immediately communicated to the Russian pilots. If it is not completed, then they will have to see for themselves. The head of the Public Council under the Odesa Regional Military Administration, speaker of the Ukrainian Volunteer Army “South” Serhii Bratchuk said this on the FREEDOM TV channel.

“Very important, in my opinion, was the statement made the night before by the commander of the Air Forces of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, General Oleshchuk, that today a distance of 150 km for combat, I emphasize, the work of the Air Forces of Ukraine is no longer the limit. And I am sure that Russian pilots naturally received this information in the first second of its publication. If they don’t hide it from them. If they are hiding it, then one of them will have to check it for themselves in the near future,” comments the guest of the broadcast.

At the same time, he noted that Russian aviation has not yet suffered sufficient losses to stay away from Ukraine. However, the blows were painful for her, and as a result, her activity became less.

“They are trying to fly in the Black Sea. In particular, here [in the south of Ukraine] virtually every day they are trying to carry out targeted missile strikes using aircraft. But if this continues on our part, I understand that 150 km is no longer the limit for the Ukrainian Air Force, then such activity, of course, will subside. And in any case, this will have a positive effect on the theater of military operations that we have today on land,” noted Serhii Bratchuk.
