Earlier today, Ukrainian President-elect Volodymyr Zelenskyi met with China’s Ambassador to Ukraine Du Wei to discuss future cooperation.
“I had a meeting with Ambassador of the People’s Republic of China to Ukraine Du Wei. We talked about the development of cooperation and traditionally friendly relations between our countries. Chinese experience and investment are also important to Ukraine,” Zelenskyi Twitter account wrote.
Ukraine’s Central Election Commission announced the results of the second round of presidential elections on April 30. Zelenskyi won by a landslide, garnering 73.22 percent of the vote.
The results were published in the government and parliament newspapers on May 3. The 30-day deadline for the inauguration of the newly elected head of state began on that day.
