Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyi has stated that the development of the domestic film industry is among the priority tasks of Ukraine.
“Ukrainian Cinema Week. The 100th anniversary of the Odesa Film Studio on Thursday. The opening of the 48th International Film Festival Molodist [May 25],” Zelenskyi wrote on his Facebook page, congratulating all Ukrainian filmmakers.
The Ukrainian president also stressed the importance of supporting Ukrainian film production.
“The support of the Ukrainian film production is one of the priority tasks. We are waiting for the coolest films on the screens, box office hits and international awards, and most importantly, the cinema audience, who will choose our films. Movies filmed in Ukraine,” Zelenskyi wrote.
