President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelensky met with US Special Representative for Ukraine Kurt Volker and U.S. Representative to the European Union Gordon Sondland.
Zelensky thanked the US side for its consistent support of Ukraine and the US efforts aimed at achieving a peaceful settlement to conflict in Donbas.
Zelensky discussed the current situation in the Joint Forces Operation zone, in particular the process of removing forces around Stanitsa Luhanska, with the representatives of the US administration.
During the meeting, it was recognized that the occupation forces in Donbas would need to withdraw forces and improve the humanitarian situation on the front line.
Both sides expressed their hopes that the harvest ceasefire would hold and that attacks would permanently cease.
