The Central Election Commission of Ukraine has announced the final results of the second round of voting in the presidential election.
Volodymyr Zelenskyi is now officially the President-elect of Ukraine.
According to the results of the Presidential election, 73.22% voted for Zelenskyi (13,541,528 people) and 24.45% (4,522,450 people) for incumbent president Petro Poroshenko.
The total turnout for the second round of the race stands at 18,491,837 voters, 61.37% of the voting population.
According to Ukrainian legislation, the ceremony for the inauguration is to be held no later than 30 days after the date of the official announcement of the results by the CEC.
