The Cabinet of Ministers of Ukraine adopted a resolution “On the Unified Ecological Platform “EcoSystem”, which will regulate the functioning of a single environmental platform, the Ministry of Ecology and Natural Resources launched in a test mode in May 2021.
This was reported by the press service of the Ministry of Environment Protection and Natural Resources, UA informs.
“EcoSystem” is becoming the official state web portal. This is the only resource for verified environmental information and obtaining environmental administrative services. Based on it, we have already opened 66 registers and are constantly working to increase the number of published environmental data sets. They are available to every citizen of our country” – said the Minister of Ecology and Natural Resources of Ukraine Roman Abramovsky.
He said there will be about 80 registries in the system by the end of 2021. Ukraine is fulfilling its obligations and opening to its citizens access to information on the state of the environment provided by the Aarhus Convention.
“EcoSystem” is a national environmental automated information and analytical system integrated with the “Diia” portal, which is designed to provide access to environmental information, as well as – effective electronic interaction between government, business and community to obtain administrative services in the field of environment protection.
To remind, Ukraine wants to ban disposable tableware. The Ministry of Environment Protection and Natural Resources has already developed a corresponding bill. According to him, they plan to ban the production and import of one-time plastic dishes into the country.
