Ukraine’s Defense Forces struck a road bridge across the Henichesk Strait and hit a Russian Pantsir-S air defense system and several drone command posts during overnight operations on June 20, the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine said.
According to the military, Ukrainian units targeted the road bridge near the occupied city of Henichesk in the Kherson region. The crossing is used by Russian forces to support military logistics between occupied Crimea and Russian troop groupings operating in southern Ukraine.
In the Zaporizhzhia region, Ukrainian forces struck a Russian Pantsir-S surface-to-air missile and gun system near the village of Dolynske.
The General Staff also reported strikes on Russian unmanned aerial vehicle command posts in the areas of Soledar in the Donetsk region, Hrozove in the Zaporizhzhia region, and Terebreno in Russia’s Belgorod region.
“The Defense Forces of Ukraine continue to systematically degrade the capabilities of the Russian aggressor to sustain combat operations against Ukraine,” the General Staff said.
The latest strikes come as Ukraine intensifies attacks on Russian military infrastructure and logistics hubs in occupied territories and inside Russia.
