Ukraine will receive at least €375 million in additional international assistance to restore its energy infrastructure, Energy Minister Denys Shmyhal announced following the Energy Ramstein meeting in Gdańsk.

The funding will be directed toward rebuilding energy facilities damaged by Russian attacks and supporting the Ukraine Energy Support Fund, UATV English reports.

According to Shmyhal, the new commitments include:

  • United States — $175 million
  • Sweden — €137 million
  • Norway — €77 million
  • Estonia — €2.125 million
  • Lithuania — €4 million
  • Iceland — €550,000

Shmyhal noted that despite the latest pledges, Ukraine’s energy sector still faces more than €650 million in unfunded recovery and resilience needs.

The minister thanked partner countries for their continued support, emphasizing that the new funding will help restore critical energy infrastructure and strengthen Ukraine’s energy resilience amid ongoing Russian attacks.
