Ukraine’s “naval case” against Russia: the first round of debate starts in The Hague

The International Court of Arbitration will hold hearings in The Hague in the case of Ukraine against Russia on the detention of Ukrainian warships and sailors in the Kerch Strait in November 2018.

So, on Monday, October 11, the Russian Federation will hold the first round of oral arguments. The Ukrainian delegation will have the floor on Tuesday, October 12.

Opening remarks made by the agents of each side will be broadcast in real time.

The second round of debates between the parties will take place on October 14 and 15.

Also the date of October 16 is reserved in case of need.

Earlier it was reported that the court in Amsterdam will announce a decision in the case of “Scythian gold” at the end of October.
