Ukraine to Establish the Ministry of Veteran Affairs

The Verkhovna Rada began the process to establish the Ministry of Veteran Affairs, which is expected to take one month.

This was stated by the press service of the Cabinet of Ministers, Ukrinform reported.

The ministry will become a central executive body, and it will ensure the implementation of state policy in the sphere of social protection of veterans.

According to Prime Minister Volodymyr Groysman, the government wants to take care of those who defended the sovereignty and territorial integrity of Ukraine.
