Ukraine and the United States held their third meeting in two days in Paris to discuss key elements of a framework for ending the war in Ukraine, Secretary of the National Security and Defense Council of Ukraine, Rustem Umerov, reported on Facebook.
Key Details:
- Focus of discussions: Both sides reviewed the core elements of a potential peace framework and explored formats for future high-level contacts involving Ukraine, European partners, and the US.
- US delegation: Special Presidential Envoy Steve Witkoff, Ambassador Charles Kushner, Jared Kushner, and White House official Josh Gruenbaum participated in the talks.
- Ukrainian delegation: Secretary Rustem Umerov, Lt. Gen. Andriy Hnatov, head of the Presidential Office Kyrylo Budanov, First Deputy Head of the Presidential Office Serhiy Kyslytsia, David Arakhamia, and Presidential Advisor Oleksandr Bevz.
Following the meetings, the Ukrainian delegation is preparing a detailed report for President Volodymyr Zelenskyy.
Kyrylo Budanov earlier confirmed that Ukraine’s delegation continues peace negotiations in Paris, noting that “concrete results are already visible.”
