In 2021 the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and the State Food and Consumer Service opened or restored access to foreign markets for 81 groups of Ukrainian goods in 21 countries and helped more than 200 Ukrainian companies to start exporting or working abroad.

This was stated by Foreign Minister Dmytro Kuleba during a briefing, the website of the Foreign Ministry reports.

The Foreign Minister noted the fruitful work of the Ministry in the economic direction and shared concrete quantitative results.

“This year we have worked fruitfully in the direction of economic diplomacy. This is evidenced by specific figures: more than 200 Ukrainian companies have started exporting or opening offices abroad. About 100 foreign companies are already implementing or considering economically important investment projects for our country” – Kuleba said.

The Minister also said that during the year Ukrainian companies took part in about 600 online and offline business events around the world – namely, briefings, business missions, forums and exhibitions.

To remind, in September Ukraine and the United States signed a memorandum to strengthen economic cooperation.
