The Cabinet of Ministers of Ukraine has decided to extend the adaptive quarantine until October 1.

UA reports this.

Besides, the government has no plans to impose additional quarantine restrictions within the country.

According to Prime Minister Denys Shmyhal, the epidemic situation in Ukraine is currently under control. At the same time, there has been a recent increase in the number of hospitalizations of patients with COVID-19.

“The current situation is completely under control, but, unfortunately, experts are beginning to record the first negative trends in the growing number of hospitalizations of critically ill patients” – he said.

The government is preparing hospitals, and the number of beds provided with oxygen is now almost 100%. In addition, 15 000 oxygen concentrators were purchased separately, which will allow treating Ukrainians on an outpatient basis.
