Ukrainian Prime Minister Yuliia Svyrydenko will head Ukraine’s delegation to the Ukraine Recovery Conference (URC-2026), scheduled to take place in Gdańsk, Poland, on June 25-26.
In a statement on Telegram, Svyrydenko said the Ukrainian team would include representatives of businesses, state-owned companies, local communities from across the country, as well as government officials and members of parliament, UATV English reports.
“I will lead the Ukrainian delegation and our overall work at URC-2026 in Gdańsk. There will be many events at different levels aimed at strengthening Ukraine, Poland, all our partners, and Europe as a whole,” she said.
According to the prime minister, Ukraine’s goal at the conference is to secure concrete agreements that will strengthen the country’s defense capabilities and resilience while expanding economic cooperation with international partners.
“We expect to sign a number of important agreements with international partners, including those aimed at strengthening our energy sector,” Svyrydenko noted.
She emphasized that Ukraine is committed to constructive and mutually beneficial partnerships in the interests of European security, economic development, and long-term prosperity.
“Ukraine respects its partners, and it is on the principle of mutual respect that we build our cooperation,” Svyrydenko said.
The Ukraine Recovery Conference is expected to become one of the key international platforms for attracting investment, developing partnerships and promoting practical solutions for rebuilding Ukraine. Around 1,000 companies are expected to participate, including Ukrainian, Polish and international businesses.
Earlier reports indicated that President Volodymyr Zelenskyy had been expected to attend the conference. However, following recent tensions between Kyiv and Warsaw over Polish President Karol Nawrocki’s decision to revoke the Order of the White Eagle previously awarded to Zelenskyy, the Ukrainian leader announced on June 20 that he had returned the distinction to Poland while reaffirming Ukraine’s openness to meaningful cooperation with its partners.
