Researchers from the Taras Shevchenko National University of Kyiv have co-authored the Nobel Laureate in Chemistry 2021 Benjamin List.

This is reported by UA with the reference to the message of the Taras Shevchenko National University of Kyiv.

“Incredibly cool news – researchers of the Faculty of Chemistry of the Taras Shevchenko National University Oleksander Hryhorenko,of  the Institute of High Technologies of the Taras Shevchenko National University, the director of the Institute of High Technologies, Professor Ihor Komarov, the former graduate student of the Institute of High Technologies Andriy Tymtsunik are the first and so far the only co-authors of the Nobel Laureate in Chemistry 2021 Benjamin List” – said in the message.

The 2021 Nobel Prize in Chemistry was awarded on October 6 to Benjamin List and David McMillan for the development of asymmetric organocatalysis.

To remind, David Julius and Ardem Patapoutian were awarded the Nobel Prize in Physiology or Medicine in 2021.
