Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy reacted to Russia’s missile strike on Kryvyi Rih in the Dnipropetrovsk region on June 23. He called on international partners to significantly increase economic, political, and sanctions pressure on the aggressor, UATV English reports.

According to the head of state, emergency services are continuing to deal with the aftermath of the attack. Russia struck civilian infrastructure directly. Firefighters have already extinguished the blaze. At least three people were killed and more than 20 others were injured.

“Every such day and every Russian strike prove that pressure on the aggressor for this war is not enough. They also prove that every delay in implementing air defense agreements, every postponement of deliveries needed to protect Ukraine and Ukrainians, effectively costs lives. It is important that the world does not remain silent about the fact that Russia has still not taken a single real step toward ending this war,” Zelenskyy stressed.

The president noted that Ukraine has not received a single clear response from Russia to proposals for diplomacy, meetings, or steps toward peace. For this reason, pressure on Russia must be intensified.

As previously reported, three people were killed and 13 others injured as a result of Russian attacks on the Sumy Oblast. Russian forces targeted the region with missiles, guided aerial bombs, strike drones, FPV drones, artillery, and mortars. The most severe consequences were recorded in the Znob-Novhorodske Hromada.
