Finnish President Alexander Stubb said on Wednesday that the situation in the ceasefire talks in Ukraine is difficult, but not impossible.
According to Ukrinform, Yle reports this with reference to the Finnish leader’s words during a press conference with Kosovo President Vjosa Osmani.

Stubb reiterated his recent statement that Finland cannot accept forcing Ukraine to transfer territory or limiting its sovereignty by excluding the possibility of NATO membership.

However, during the meeting, Stubb and Osmani did not comment on the consequences of a possible US withdrawal from the peace talks.

As reported earlier, today, April 23, the head of the President’s Office, Andriy Yermak, Defense Minister Rustem Umerov, and Foreign Minister Andriy Sibiga arrived in London, where talks are scheduled between representatives of the United States, the United Kingdom, France, Germany, and Ukraine.

Vice President J.D. Vance said that the United States expects that both Ukraine and Russia will have to give up some territory to reach a peace agreement between the parties.

April 18 U.S. Secretary of State Marco Rubio confirms in a conversation with NATO Secretary General Mark Rutte that the U.S. will move forward if Russia’s war in Ukraine is not stopped.
