Parliament Refuses to Dismiss Klimkin

The Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine has rejected the draft resolution submitted by President Volodymyr Zelensky on the dismissal of Foreign Minister Pavlo Klimkin for the second time.

At a parliament meeting on July 11, 2019, 160 MPs voted for the resolution with the minimum required 226 votes, a Ukrinform correspondent reports.

The first vote that failed was held on June 6, 2019.
