President’s press-secretary Serhiy Nykyforov commented on the events in which the Ukrainian delegation will take part during Volodymyr Zelenskyy’s official visit to the United States.

“We’ll be signing documents with the U.S. Department of Energy, even with NASA. There will be a very big deal with the Department of Defense” – the spokesman said.
Also, according to him, a meeting with Secretary of State Antony Blinken is planned. There will also be ceremonial events, in particular in memory of the Holodomor victims.
When asked by our correspondent about the Ukrainian House, Nykyforov said that its opening is scheduled for September 1. This is a cultural project of the two countries (by analogy with the American House in Ukraine – ed.).
As for the mood of the President of Ukraine, Nykyforov answered briefly: “The mood is optimistic”.
To remind, on August 30, Ambassador of Ukraine to the United States Oksana Markarova announced that the meeting between US President Joe Biden and Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy will be held on September 1.
It was rescheduled due to the U.S. evacuation from Afghanistan.
