Secretary of the National Security and Defense Council of Ukraine Oleksandr Danylyuk promised reforms in Ukraine’s defense spending at a council meeting today (July 31).
“I would like the fund allocated from the state budget to be used as efficiently as possible and to meet priority needs,” Danylyuk said. “Society and the president expect serious reforms in the security and defense spheres, which should be reflected next year, particularly in the budget.”
Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky selected the new National Security and Defense Council in May.
