An Mi-8 helicopter of the Armed Forces of Ukraine crashed in Rivne region. Four crew members died.
“At 23:50, May 29, a Mi-8 helicopter of the Armed Forces of Ukraine crashed near Sestriatyn village, Radyvyliv district of Rivne region, and subsequently burst into flames. Four crewmembers died. At 01:02, May 30, the emergency service units extinguished fire,” the press service of the State Emergency Service of Ukraine reports, as reported by Ukrinform.
President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelenskyi ordered the Chief of the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, Ruslan Khomchak, to take the investigation into the circumstances of the military helicopter crash under his personal control.
