Melovin to Represent Ukraine at 2018 Eurovision Song Contest

Melovin will represent Ukraine at the Eurovision Song Contest this year in Lisbon, Portugal.

In the final national selection, he received five points from the jury and six points from the viewers. Singer Tayanna took second place with six jury points and four viewer points, Ukrinform reported.

Other finalists in the national selection were Vilna, The Erised, Laud and Kadnay.

In total, 179 thousand viewers voted in the poll.

The judges were Jamala, Andriy Danylko and Yevhen Filatov.

Last year, Melovin participated in the national selection, with the English-language song “Wonder” and came in third place.

The Eurovision Song Contest semi-finals will take place on May 8 and 10, and the final will be on May 12. Melovin will perform on May 10.
