Kozlova and Kostiuk updated their personal records in the WTA ranking

After a successful week, Ukrainian tennis players Kateryna Kozlova and Marta Kostiuk improved their personal achievements in the global classification. This is reported by Sportarena.

After reaching the final of the WTA International tournament in Taipei, Ukrainian Kateryna Kozlova became the world number 65 in tennis and thus made her debut in the top 70 for the first time in her professional sports career. Kozlova also became the Ukraine number 3 in tennis, after Elina Svitolina and Lesia Tsurenko.

In turn, Marta Kostiuk, after winning the ITF tournament in Berne, immediately skipped 58 lines and got in the top 200 ranking of the WTA for the first time in her career. In addition, the 15-year-old athlete was included in the top 5 best tennis players in the U-18 category. Marta’s rapid progress will allow her to directly qualify for Grand Slam tournaments.
